Cicely Galm

In 2024, Cicely received her MFA in Acting from The Theatre School at DePaul University and secured representation with the phenomenal folks at DDO Chicago. When not acting, she has spent the majority of her adult life as a barista, English teacher, and social justice advocate.

In 2015 she earned a B.A. in Theatre with Distinction in Acting in the small but mighty Theatre Department at the University of Denver where they also concentrated in Dramaturgy. While training with Rick Barbour, Anne Penner, Allison Horsley, and others heroes, Cicely developed a taste for bold, brave works with maximalist, multi-media stage design in a black box setting. 

Post-graduation, she lived 3 years teaching English in Spain and Italy. Between Spain and Chicago, Cicely devoted her time in equal measures to promoting body liberation, studying old-world wine, developing specialty cocktail and coffee recipes, and collecting tattoos.

In 2023, she enrolled at the School of Botanical and Medical Aesthetics to pursue her passions for skincare, medical and botanical therapy, and somatic nourishment as an esthetician.

Cicely is also a poet, writer, and visual artist.

Favorite writers include Leonid Andreev, Sarah Kane, Virgie Tovar, Alice Birch, Kiese Laymon, Marco Ramirez, Sarah Ruhl, Camonghne Felix, and Zinnie Harris.

These days you can look to the west of the Rockies and south of the Sun to find Cicely working, acting, and arting just outside of Boulder, Colorado.
